Therapeutic support is tailored entirely to the unique needs of each individual, combining traditional talk therapy with practical, real-world planning. Grounded in a supportive environment, sessions provide a dedicated space to navigate life transitions, manage stress, process complex challenges, and build practical tools for long-term well-being. Every session is collaborative, confidential, and focused on helping individuals find their footing at their own pace.

How it works:

Making First Contact

The process begins with a simple email or text enquiry. Whether there are specific questions or a readiness to book an appointment right away, every message is welcome. A response can generally be expected within 48 hours to help coordinate a day and time that works best.

Preparing for the First Session

Once a time is secured, a confirmation message will be sent out with all the practical details, including directions or online links, payment information, and a simple intake form to complete. There is no need to prepare anything else, just coming exactly as you are is perfect.

The Initial Appointment

The first session is all about building comfort and finding a rhythm. The time is split naturally to suit individual needs:

Settling In: Space to talk safely, share what has been happening, and untangle messy thoughts without any judgment.

Collaborative Planning: Together, a look is taken at what goals or changes feel important, mapping out clear, manageable steps forward at a pace that feels safe.

Practical Tools: Useful insights or everyday strategies are introduced, ensuring there is something tangible to take away to support ongoing well-being.

Ongoing Support

There is never any pressure or obligation. Some individuals find that just a few sessions provide the clarity and planning they need, while others prefer ongoing, regular support. The frequency and number of appointments are entirely guided by what best serves the individual journey.

 

Payment & Administration

Hourly Rate: $135 per hour (plus GST, totaling $155.25)

Session Duration: Standard appointments are 60 minutes long, which includes 50 minutes of dedicated face-to-face time and 10 minutes allocated for clinical notes and session administration.

Extended Sessions: Appointments can be scheduled for longer durations if preferred, billed proportionally at the standard hourly rate (e.g., a 90-minute session is $202.50 plus GST, totaling $232.88).

WINZ Subsidies & Support: Financial assistance may be available through Work and Income (WINZ) for those eligible for a Disability Allowance. Support can be provided to help complete the practitioner sections of the application forms to assist with this process.

Payment Method: Bank transfer is preferred, with invoicing provided at the conclusion of the session.

Cancellation Policy: Out of respect for the schedule and other clients, a minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a late cancellation fee.
